● During the Fungal Nail Initial Appointment a fungal nail test will be carried out including podiatry treatment and advice dependent on the fungal nail test results.
● Once you have been given all the relevant advice you can then decide if you would like to participate in our treatment pathway.
● The podiatrist uses a fenestration technique to penetrate through the nails to allow the treatment to be as effective as possible. I know it sounds terrible, but I promise it doesn't hurt!
● Medicaments will be provided for you to treat you skin, nails, shoes and laundry.
